Renewable Energy fills Tank vacated by Oil Industry

Motely Fools are Foolish-here is why

I realize this is a oil industry story and the writers promote and own stock in the oil industry but I feel actions mentioned by Motely Fool and their latest article: Crude Price Crash Could Drill a 19 Million-Barrel Hole in Future Supplies.   Is another example of where renewable energy will fill the gap that dirty oil is unable to fill.

Another Example where Renewable Energy fills Tank

The article states that future oil supplies are in jeopardy because of the lack of drilling ventures being pursued around the world at the present.  Motley Fool implies that due to feasibility issues are the driving force behind the lack of drilling ventures being pursued-regardless of location whether its deep water drilling, tar sand mining, or drilling on land.  Will leave the future world in short supply.

They state that all the big names in the dirty oil business have cancelled or postponed future wells.  Who would have envisioned (Exon, Total, TPH, Statoil) from not continuing the business as usual of harvesting the polluting the World with the dirty oil they take out of the earth.

Using Friday 11.27.2015 NYMEX oil price for January delivery of $41.71 per barrel.  I calculate that 19 million barrels at $41.71 equals close to 800 trillion dollars that dirty oil will not have  [(19,000,000,000 barrels) x ($41.71 NYMEX per barrel)= $792,490,000,000].

The Motely Fools are Foolish

They failed to consider and I don't think they had the forethought to consider how Renewable and Sustainable Energy is primed and will be ready to meet this demand left by the supposed lack of oil reserves.

This is great news for both the Climate of the World and the Future of the Renewable Energy business such as biodiesel, solar, wind, hydrogen, and electricity storage companies.

I'm sure that Tesla Motors is licking their chops at the chance to meet the upcoming demand.

The Oil Industry and their future in the energy
business is in serious jeopardy.
At long last mankind will loosened from the poisonous grip the dirty oil industry has had on the world since the dawn of the industrial age.
The biggest question is will it be done in time to avoid the devastating effects of climate change.

Intelligent Energy’s CEO, Henri Winand, has today welcomed a landmark declaration, announced at the COP21 Climate Change Conference in Paris, which sees a range of global actors from large companies to international organisations committing to increasing the adoption of electric and hydrogen vehicle technology in order to drastically reduce emissions and slow the rate of global warming.

The Paris Declaration on Electro-Mobility and Climate Change & Call to Action brings together individual and collective commitments to increase electro-mobility to levels compatible with a less-than 2-degree pathway. It builds on current successful experiences worldwide and the converging interest of all transport modes for hybrid/electric solutions.

Partners to the Declaration (see table below) commit to broaden their efforts and call for a decisive joint effort towards sustainable transport electrification – including that at least 20% of all road vehicles (cars, 2 and 3-wheelers, trucks, buses and others) are to be electrically powered by 2030.

Voters are Responsible for Shutdown~Lesson Learned~BlameGame

Yes I said and do mean that.  The Tea Party and their fellow GOP cronies were elected by the People.  So I point the finger in the blame game back at 'We the People' the Voting Public for electing these clowns into office.

I will admit that when I first learned about the Tea Party. I believed they were making a few valid points.  Though it was not enough for me to contribute $Money$ to support their political endeavors.  Some of the info was at least worth looking into.

Like any informed Voter studying the Issues that are affecting the USA and its Interests.  I want the facts-not the hype from the Media Networks.  I learned long ago when I started studying the effects of Climate Change that it was the Humans Fault. (IPCC-The IPCC report shows the Man Made CO2 is creating warming temperatures Worldwide )

I've written many green blog posts on Climate Change and the Causes and never understood why more efforts to end wars over Oil, Clean Energy Jobs, and protecting America's Greatest asset "We The People" were not adopted and enacted by our Elected Officials.

I had to know why wouldn't any elected official who campaigns on what's best for the American Public and then FAIL to:create and enact laws and regulations to support the endeavor.  To understand and research this topic I luckily found the websites: Open Secrets and Follow the Money.

I had the Ah-hah Moment

I honestly couldn't believe the amount of money Big Business and the Oil Industry was giving to our Elected Officials.  And when I look at the Government Shutdown created by the GOP and the Tea Party Members.  I realized these are the same people who are taking the most money from the Fossil Fuel Industry.

Coincidence or Fact learn for yourself from the people at: Open Secrets and Follow the Money.

I rest my case.

Sincerely,
Scotty

End Taxpayer Subsidies for Big Oil Companies

You and your fellow Americans have been paying oil companies more than $4 per gallon at the pump this spring. It's outrageous, and it hurts people.
And as if it wasn't bad enough, did you know you're paying oil companies another $4,000,000,000 on top of those sky-high pump prices? It's true.
Today, I helped introduce legislation in the Senate that will take away the $4 billion in subsidies American taxpayers hand to the most profitable corporations in the world -- the big oil companies -- every year, but I need your help to pass it.
Help me pass legislation taking away taxpayer subsidies to oil companies -- click here to sign my petition today.
The top five multi-national oil companies have raked in nearly $1 trillion in profits over the last ten years. They've broken their own records for the most profits several times over.
That kind of money buys a lot of power in Washington, and Big Oil will do everything it can to keep its outrageous taxpayer subsidies.
Unless we shine a light on them.
We need to build citizen support for this legislation to take away oil company subsidies, especially at a time when we're getting gouged at the pump and need every penny we can get to preserve programs and reduce the deficit.
Build citizen support for taking away oil company subsidies. Sign my petition today, and ask your friends and family to sign it, too.
We don't need to be paying oil companies twice. We need to end these subsidies. Thank you for joining with me today.
All the best,

Claire McCaskill

Re: Big Oil says you're "Un-American"

On Thu, May 12, 2011 at 7:17 AM, Steve Kretzmann, Oil Change International <info@priceofoil.org> wrote:
Oil Change International
Dear ScottsContracting,
Can you believe the nerve of these oil executives? This morning the CEOs of America's biggest and most profitable oil companies are coming to the Senate to argue that they still deserve billions in government handouts.
Oil giant Conoco Phillips even went so far yesterday as to call the effort to end these corporate giveaways "Un-American". That's right. The very same companies that have made almost 1 trillion dollars in profits over the past ten years, while shirking their fair share of taxes, are trying to take billions more of our tax dollars while wrapping themselves in the American flag. Don't let them get away with it!
These greedy CEOs will be using every scare tactic in the book to frighten your Senators into giving them more of our money.  And they are hoping that the millions of dollars in campaign contributions that they have showered on our elected leaders will keep these taxpayer funds flowing to Big Oil. Don't let them get away with it!

Big Oil knows that the vast majority of Americans support ending corporate welfare to these outrageously profitable industries. They are counting on the fact that Members of Congress are too scared to bite the hands that feed them.
Ending subsidies to Big Oil won't lower domestic production, raise gas prices, or cost jobs.  These are just the same old scare tactics by a greedy industry bent on trying to keep America dependent on oil. Don't let them get away with it.
The United States can't drill our way to energy independence.  The way to end our nation's crippling addiction to oil is not to drill for more oil or give more taxpayer money to the oil industry – as a country we need to consume less oil.
We have the technology; we know how to do this.  All we need is the political will.

Join us – tell Congress loud and clear that you expect them to end all government handouts to oil, gas and coal companies and reject campaign contributions from these Dirty Energy industries. Remind them that they should represent the people, not Big Oil.

Peace,

Another Example-GOP Out of Touch With America

I ask myself what is the big deal with stopping Pollution from Fossil Fuels and GHG's?

? Doesn't everyone want to be healthy?

Why is it wrong to Protecting the Environment?

? Do the Republicans understand that when they cut health care and then Remove Environmental Safe Guards that "We the People" could get sick and then not have any access to Health Care because they have DE-Funded the Programs?

Ms Lisa Jackson, Administrator for the EPA cites:
  • 60 percent of Americans believe the E.P.A. “needs to hold polluters accountable,”

  • 75% of Americans favor tougher regulations on pollution in order to protect our air and water

  • the contamination of our soil and water is the #1 issue for Americans

These are just some of the questions I asked myself.  To attempt to learn why the GOP is so Short-Sighted and not protecting the America they say they so strongly care for. I started looking and searching into why the Republicans are voting the way they are.

Through the Power of the Internet (which they are also trying to curtail) I found the Open Secrets Web Site.

OpenSecrets.org is your nonpartisan guide to money’s influence on U.S. elections and public policy. Whether you’re a voter, journalist, activist, student or interested citizen, use our free site to shine light on your government. Count cash and make change
.

I Found out who the Top Oil and Gas Contributors were in 2009-2010.  In the graph below you will see the Republicans in RED and the Democrats in BLUE and you can see for yourself which party receives the Largest Contributions.

I don't own a Calculator that will add figures into the Multi Billions of Dollars.  What I do know is that if the Oil and Gas Companies have that much money to spend on Lobbying the Republican Party;  Then "We the People" are getting screwed over when we pay to fill up at the Gas Pumps.

If they weren't Lobbying Multi Billion Dollars to Buy the Republican Party OFF to vote for Dirty Fossil Fuels and decreased Regulations on GHG's our/ "We the People" Gas Prices Would be Lower.

I feel this is a personal assault against the Average American and Small Business.  We are the Major Supporters of the US Government through the Taxes that are levied against our paychecks and through the Goods and Services we depend on.

Through the News Networks: CNN, HLN, CNBC I've learned that the Major Corporations are not paying their fair share of Taxes.  So this leaves "We the Average Citizens" paying more taxes to support the "Wasteful Government Spending"

I don't have a solution but I do know that there needs to be some changes made in the way our Government operates.

Here are just some of the things I do and are planning to do and urge all concerned American Citizens to the same.
  1. I will vote a Straight Democratic Ticket for the First Time in my Life in the Up-Coming Elections.  (I don't agree with many of their views but the Alternative is Worse.)
  2. I have contacted my Government Representatives through this web site and let my voice be heard- I suggest that Every Concerned American Do The Same
  3. Stay Active in the Political Discussions.  I post frequent Articles on my Web Sites: St Louis Renewable Energy and Scotts Contracting  That highlight the GOP Republicans attempts to undermine and drive the Average American into the Poor House.
  4. Stay Informed on the Issues that are Affecting American and re-peat 2 above.  If your Elected Leaders do not know on how you stand on the issues, How will they support your views and Vote on the Issues you Support?
    • When Listening to the Republicans on TV and Radio- Don't let their slick tongues distort the real issues- "Listen and Watch"- while reading between the Lines.
  5. Because of the way Lobbying Activities Work in Washington there needs to be additional safeguards enacted to protect "We the Americans" from the Major Corporations who are gaining- more and more power, and removing the protections that the Average American Depends upon.
